Their probably as fed up with the number of signs and markers on the trail as I am. :)

Groomed the ski trails today. They turned out great. Also groomed Z,X, and Y lakes. Wind was blowing good on X lake. I will groom it again tomorrow. I didn't do Tigger. Hard to get in that lake with a groomer. Need to do some work on that access next year.
Happy skiing

Might this be the size for my daughter?

According to the Fischer skis website the sizing is the person's height plus 5 to 15 cm. So if the person is 48 inches tall (121 cm) and you add 5 -15 cm. Then you would want skis that are about 130 to 145.

How would you feel about a Trapper Creeker joining in??

Thank You! Do you do a lot of skiing on the weekends? I need to stay tuned in!

After the first snow and during the rain I dragged the ski hill trails. It was very difficult, sloppy and left some chunks. I just revisited the trails today and they are great. I didn’t fall through any frost heaves and no earth is showing. I personally think it could be groomed for skiing with the great base. I dragged and compacted all the trails but just biked around the main trail to see how it turned out. I don’t bike on this trail after it’s skiable. I think it can be skied now if anybody is brave enough to tackle the hills. Have fun. ... See MoreSee Less

I just skied XY Lakes and they were great then I skied Old Lake Road and it was awesome. I think you could skate ski it but there may be some rocks toward the edges so watch out. It is a short distance but a great hill work out. It is an out and back. ... See MoreSee Less

Some are skiing already, I am still ice-skating.

Z-lake, Tigger lake, Nanna's pond, Pelgrim pond, Long lake, Spruce lake, Halfway lake, Numbered lakes 1-5 are good for ice-skating.

Question lake and X-lake are horrible.

Looks like people are still walking there. Is that okay, or should we stay off now that grooming has started? Are all of the lakes frozen over enough for walking and skating?

Skied the loops a couple days ago. Just be careful for the rocky rough areas as they are now somewhat obscured by the new dusting of snow.

Groomed the ski trails today. Could have used a little more snow. Otter loop turned out the best. The frost heaves got worked up. So, some dirt spots on the trails. Just need a little more snow. At least it will be easier to walk to the lakes to ice skate
